President's Welcome

On behalf of the Board of Directors and the entire membership of the Pigskin Club of Washington, Inc., it is my distinct honor and privilege to welcome you to our official website.

Since our founding on October 7, 1938, the Pigskin Club of Washington has stood as a beacon of excellence in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan sports community. For more than eight decades, we have celebrated the achievements of outstanding student-athletes, coaches, officials, and contributors who have shaped the landscape of sports in our region.

Our mission has always been rooted in the belief that sports build character, foster community, and inspire the next generation. Through our annual Fall and Spring Awards Banquets, our Hall of Fame inductions, and our Scholar Athlete Awards, we continue to honor those who exemplify the highest standards of athletic achievement and personal integrity.

We are proud of our rich history and the legacy left by the 51 charter members who had the vision to create an organization that would endure for generations. Their commitment to recognizing excellence in sports — and in life — remains the foundation upon which everything we do is built.

I invite you to explore our website, learn about our history, and consider joining us as a member or sponsor. Together, we can continue to celebrate Democracy in Sports and ensure that the Pigskin Club of Washington remains a vital part of this community for generations to come.

With warm regards and appreciation for your support,
